Evaluating the clinical condition of the patient is a comprehensive process and requires cooperation between the patient and the centre's therapeutic team, whereby each member of the therapeutic team performs a complete assessment of the patient based on their specialty. The members of the therapeutic team then come together at the end of the evaluation process to develop the appropriate treatment plan and discuss it with the patient.

The evaluation process

The patient is welcomed by the receptionist to complete the necessary paperwork.
The nurse measures the patient's vital signs and takes a urine sample to detect narcotic substances.
The treatment team conducts a complete evaluation of the patient, including problems with drug and alcohol abuse, as well as whether there are any other psychological diseases associated with addiction.
The general physician examines the patient and assesses whether he suffers from any accompanying esoteric diseases, as well as to ensure the stability of his medical condition.
The social worker conducts an assessment regarding the patient's family and social life.

Determining the appropriate therapeutic services for the patient: such as admission for treatment in any of the centre's inpatient units or treatment in outpatient clinics according to the patient’s needs.
Determine the patient's need and make a referral to other therapeutic services if his need so requires, such as transferring the patient to the emergency room.

Forming a successful therapeutic relationship with the patient.
Obtaining a comprehensive medical history of the patient, including addiction problems, any other psychological or medical problems associated with addiction, assessing the patient’s family and social situation, as well as assessing the extent of the presence of legal or financial problems that may interfere with the patient’s therapeutic process.
Developing an integrated treatment plan for the patient based on the assessments of the treatment team.
