Social services are a group of specialized services provided by social workers for the wellbeing of patients and their families during the stages of receiving treatment in the centre, or as a subsequent follow-up process after leaving the centre. These services aim to help patients and their families to continue receiving appropriate treatment and reducing social difficulties as much as possible. This is done by dealing with patients and their families directly, in cooperation with concerned parties. They provide the necessary medical and social services, which fit into society as a whole, in addition to working to improve the social performance of these patients, by following appropriate professional methods as well as personal and environmental resources to achieve their goals.
